((Ack! I hate it when I lose track of what's going on! Or when others do it as well..... And DMM, please pay close attention to what other folks post - it was a scimitar, NOT a scythe.....))
Kara Moonblade hurriedly put pieces of cloth soaked in a potion she had taken from her belt on Katheryn's shoulder wound, acting as quickly as she could.
"Fear not, dearest Katheryn. I will not let those brigands get what they desired of you - not while I still have breath within me. Forgive me for not having been there long ago when the forest was attacked. Blame the wretched fiend who had wounded me prior to that event for my unfortunate absence. No need to fear the dark tidings to come or worry about your welfare now, your highness. By the oath I swore as a child to honor and guard the royal family with my life, I shall remain by your side from now on and ensure your safety. I......."
*Kara paused for a moment, a large tear trickling down her face*
".....I promise to never let you down ever again, your highness."
As Kara continued to apply treatment to the wound, hoping the potion would negate the effects of the poison used on Katheryn as well as heal the injured girl, her thoughts drifted elsewhere. She recalled a terrifying vision she had concerning Katheryn's allies in which she had witnessed all of them perish in agony - the final one to die she now recognized as being Sir Hallon. For some reason, Kara recalled that he had been wearing a hooded cloak of dark purple - not revealing his face till the fated moment of his passing. Once being told that anything in a vison that was colored purple symbolized the Sheikah and anything that concerned them personally, Kara was greatly troubled even more by this vison. What could it mean? Was Hallon special in some way more than any other of Katheryn's allies??? Pondering this in her mind, Kara prayed that the goddesses would keep him safe along with all the others.....
